    Magnetic weights

I have used the new style magnetic weights and they do work acceptable.
I do prefer the older style (the ones that have the 3 magnets) when using on my dumbells, they seem to "stick" better while the new style (flat surface) seems to want to slide a bit.
But, overall, they make a great way to build up to the next dumbell weight.

    #1 Investment

I've been working out since I was 16 years old. I'm 55 now. From my many years of experience increasing by large increments can lead to serious injuries (muscle tares, sprains etc.)
The muscle expands in micro tares when doing resistance training. When you over do it is when injuries come to play. I'm fortunate to learn this early on when I met body builder/pro wrestler Tony Atlas. This is why it's important to increase in small weight increments. These Plate Mates are essential for me and highly recommend to everyone who are serious to not risk injuries. Thank Plate Mate the perfect addition to my Nuobell Dumbbells 👏👏👏💪

Saved me from having to buy in-between sized dumbbells. Good investment!
